SECURITY PRECAUTIONS IN PLACE TO PROTECT THE LOSS, MISUSE OR ALTERATION OF YOUR INFORMATION
When you give us personal information, we take steps to ensure that it’s treated securely. Any sensitive information (such as credit or debit card details) is encrypted and protected with the following software:
- As a client, we share a controlled-access Dropbox where personal information relating to our work is stored. At the end of coaching, all Dropbox links will be deleted. We retain paper and/or digital copies of coaching-related information for six months after coaching ends. After that, all materials (paper and digital) are irretrievably destroyed.
- For personal client information, such as payment details, we use LastPass as a “Data Processor” where we are the “Data Controller” for all uploaded or generated customer data. When your relationship with us ends, your data will be destroyed shortly after the end of the contract. This is to protect the privacy and data security of your data.
- LastPass is built on AES-256 bit encryption with PBKDF2 SHA-256 and salted hashes to ensure data protection in the cloud. LastPass also operates on a hardened cloud infrastructure and passes many in-depth security reviews each year.
When you are on a secure page, a lock icon will appear on the bottom of web browsers such as Microsoft Internet Explorer.
Non-sensitive details (your email address etc.) are transmitted normally over the Internet, and this can never be guaranteed to be 100% secure. As a result, while we strive to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee the security of any information you transmit to us, and you do so at your own risk. Once we receive your information, we make our best effort to ensure its security on our systems. Where we have given (or where you have chosen) a password which enables you to access certain parts of our websites, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential.
